N-able’s S-24.4.5 console update, released on February 23, 2025, delivers a fresh wave of enhancements to SentinelOne’s management platform, with a strong focus on device security visibility and operational control. One of the most noticeable changes is the rebranding of “Network Rogues” to “Unprotected Endpoints”, making the terminology more intuitive for IT teams. The related add-on has also been modernised as “Unprotected Endpoints Discovery”, aimed at streamlining endpoint identification.
Security admins will benefit from an enriched Exclusion Catalog, which now includes new agent entries like Ivanti EPM Engine Base Agent, Rapid7 Insight Agent, and Darktrace. This update also strengthens safeguards against misconfigured exclusions for both Windows and macOS, reducing the risk of accidental exposure to threats. Additionally, the Device Control feature now supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), enabling administrators to create rules based on BLE identifiers—helping manage wireless device security more effectively.
The login process has also been improved. Instead of revealing detailed error messages to unauthorised users, the console now simply displays “Authentication Failed” while logging specific details internally for auditing. This change bolsters security by preventing attackers from gaining hints about login credentials or system behaviour.
The headline feature of the update is the launch of the Singularity Operations Center and its Health Center. This centralised dashboard gives administrators a real-time overview of endpoint health, connectivity, agent performance, and configuration compliance—both at the fleet and individual device level. With these tools, IT teams can respond faster to potential issues, ensuring devices remain protected and optimised.
