We’re excited to share that we’ve reached the final phase of our major infrastructure upgrade. These upgrades are designed to make your services faster, more reliable, and more secure.

Due to procurement delays, the original August maintenance has been rescheduled into two important windows this October. Here’s what to expect:

Phase One: Core Cloud Infastructure

Friday, 10 October 2025
Starting at 18:00 SAST and running until completion

In this first phase, our engineers will be installing powerful new hardware and applying the latest long-term support software release to the platform. This work is critical to ensure long-term stability and security.

What this means for you:

• All servers will need at least two reboots.
• During these reboots, services will be temporarily unavailable.
• You may also notice slower performance at times while migrations are underway.

We’ll work swiftly to keep interruptions to a minimum.

Phase Two: Core Network Upgrade

Saturday, 18 October 2025
Maintenance window from 12:00 – 18:00 SAST

This is the big one — we’ll be replacing the primary hardware that connects our datacentre to the internet. Along with that, we’re adding a fully redundant network path and rolling out advanced firewalls.

What this means for you:

• There will be a full network outage of around 1–2 hours.
• While the window is six hours, most of that time is for careful work and contingencies.
• The new setup will deliver a faster, more resilient, and more secure connection.

We know downtime is never easy, but these upgrades are the final, crucial steps in building a platform you can depend on.
